You must follow care and use instructions provided with the product for this warranty to apply. It covers normal household use only and does not cover normal wear, damage caused by commercial use, abuse or mishandling. This warranty does not cover damages such as the cost of repairing or replacing other property that is damaged due to a defect in product, the cost for transportation of the product to get warranty service, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use or other consequential or incidental damages. This warranty is extended to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase must be demonstrated. Decisions as to the cause of damage are the responsibility of Staub and all decisions are final. Remove labels & plastic before use. The teapot can be cleaned with normal liquid detergent and non-abrasive sponge. Completely dry teapot, especially the edges before putting away. Do not put away still damp. DO NOT use the dishwasher to clean your teapot. Handles can be removed & adjusted if you have difficulty opening or closing.
